Exercising is definitely good for health and helps you stay fit. However, there is a limit to how much you should exercise every day and every week. The frequency and intensity of workout depend upon quite a lot of factors. For instance, if you have a fit body but you want to tone your muscles, then you will need to work out more than an average person. On the other hand, if you have a certain medical condition, which does not allow you intense workouts, then you will need to do it accordingly.
If you are a person with an average level of fitness with no such medical condition, then you can follow some exercising tips. Now there are two things you should be looking at. First is how many times in a week should you exercise and for how long should you exercise each day. An average person should work out at least 3 to 4 times in a week. Each day, at least 30 minutes should be spent on working out in an organized manner. If you are working out after long intervals of time, it will not have any effect on your fitness levels. Your body needs to get used to your exercise regime. On the other hand, if you are working out every day for long hours without giving any rest to your body, the fitness and development of your body will be impacted negatively. The body does need rest at regular intervals to optimize the results of exercising.
Although 3-4 days a week or 30 minutes a day is minimum, you can increase it depending upon your fitness goals.
